DriverMetrics® has received a Silver award in the Best Blended Learning Project category at this year’s Learning Technologies Awards.
The awards, established in 2005, reward excellence in learning technology across the private, public and third sectors.
DriverMetrics® was awarded in recognition of its driver safety programme which uses a unique combination of online and in-person scientifically-based training methods to improve driver behaviour among private, public service and commercial fleet drivers. Published research demonstrates that DriverMetrics’ e-learning improves attitude, behaviour and knowledge, and case studies demonstrate that the DriverMetrics® programme reduces crash involvement by upwards of 30{5fc9e21ecd349b40961ecfaabf0e965f9efa05e9afba4e3b1e757228720c24ce}.
“We are honoured to be recognised by the Learning Technologies Awards”, said Nick Rowley, CEO of DriverMetrics®.
“We remain committed to delivering a best-in-class driver education programme based on the latest in scientific research, as well as continuing to provide fleet risk management training interventions tailored to the individual driver”.
The Learning Technology Awards are independently judged by a panel made up of over 40 experts, and this year more than 400 entries were received from around the world.
Entries were received from a wide range of sectors as well as national and international government, major public and membership bodies and leading international education brands.
