Datashred Implement DriverMetrics
Shredding specialist, Datashred’s Head of Fleet, Ian Walsh is featured in Fleet News speaking about range of issues including the need for clarity from Government over future legislation and Datashred’s fleet risk management strategy.
Datashred has implemented DriverMetrics Profiling and elearning to identify high risk drivers behaviours and reduce risk among 300 drivers of a fleet of 250 vehicles, including 25 cars, 25 vans and 200 trucks.
Ian told Fleet News: “Our biggest issue is complacency if drivers are doing regular routes with the same vehicles. The training helps to refocus them,” he says.
“It also looks at root causes which has been really worthwhile. It has enabled us to identify the drivers who drive for excitement, for example, and take action.”
